MRCOOL DIY® 5th Generation Multi-Zone Wall-Mounted Air Handler
The MRCOOL DIY® 5th Generation Multi-Zone Wall-Mounted Air Handler is designed to expand an existing MRCOOL DIY multi-zone system by adding efficient, ductless heating and cooling to an additional room or living space. Its slim, modern design blends easily into residential interiors while delivering quiet, reliable performance.
This air handler is engineered specifically for MRCOOL DIY multi-zone condensers and cannot operate on its own. It must be connected to a compatible 5th Generation MRCOOL DIY multi-zone outdoor unit and is not compatible with single-zone systems. All multi-zone air handlers operate on 208/230V electrical service, which must match the connected condenser.
Each unit includes smart control capability, allowing you to manage the temperature of this individual zone through the MRCOOL SmartHVAC app or by voice using Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. Follow Me® Technology allows the remote control to sense temperature at its location, helping maintain comfort where it matters most in the room.
Designed for everyday convenience, the front panel opens easily for access to washable air filters, supporting ongoing performance and indoor air quality. The unit is well suited for bedrooms, offices, additions, or any space where ductwork is not practical.
This air handler is backed by a standard 5-year parts warranty. When installed as part of a complete 5th Generation MRCOOL DIY system and enrolled in the MRCOOL Care Program, it is covered under the system’s limited lifetime compressor warranty.

Usually ordered with it
Code requires a disconnect within sight of the outdoor unit, and the whip connects it to the unit. Every outdoor unit sits on a pad or a wall bracket.

How it’s delivered
Parcel or freight, depending on size. Ordered with a system, it ships together.
Box damaged? Refuse only the damaged item and keep the rest. We ship a replacement right away.
If you change your mind
Cancel before it ships and you get everything back except the 3% card processing fee. After it ships, email us first. The 3% fee, shipping both ways and MRCOOL’s 10% restocking fee come out of the refund. Return policy
