60 Amp Non-Fusible Disconnect Switch (DDS-60U)
This 60 amp non-fusible disconnect switch is designed for safe and reliable power shutoff for outdoor HVAC equipment, including MRCOOL DIY mini split systems. It provides a simple, code-compliant way to disconnect power during installation, servicing, or maintenance.
The metal enclosure features a reversible, side-opening door that can be configured to open from the left or right. The door opens more than 180 degrees, allowing clear access to wiring terminals and making installation easier in tight spaces. A full dead-front design helps protect against accidental contact with live components.
Built for outdoor use, the enclosure is rain tight and sleet resistant and rated NEMA Type 3R. Line, load, and ground terminals are aligned to simplify wiring and reduce installation errors for homeowners and electricians alike.
UL listed (IRF9), this non-fusible disconnect meets common residential electrical requirements for HVAC applications where overcurrent protection is provided elsewhere in the circuit.

Code requires a disconnect within sight of the outdoor unit, and the whip connects it to the unit. Every outdoor unit sits on a pad or a wall bracket.
