MRCOOL DIY 5th Generation OuttaSight® One-Way Ceiling Cassette
The MRCOOL DIY 5th Generation OuttaSight® One-Way Ceiling Cassette delivers discreet, high-efficiency heating and cooling for spaces where a low-profile installation is preferred. Designed to recess cleanly between ceiling joists, it provides powerful climate control while remaining largely hidden from view.
This ceiling cassette is engineered to install between standard joists or I-joists on 16-inch centers, making it suitable for new construction, retrofits, and future building standards. The slim design allows it to blend seamlessly into the ceiling, preserving room aesthetics without sacrificing performance. An integrated elevation function lowers the filter panel for easier access during routine maintenance.
The OuttaSight® cassette is compatible with MRCOOL DIY 5th Generation systems and can be installed in both single-zone and multi-zone configurations. The 18K model is capable of conditioning areas of up to approximately 800 square feet when paired with the appropriate condenser.
Comfort control is fully customizable through multiple options, including the included wireless remote, the SmartHVAC app for iOS and Android devices, and voice control via Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. Homeowners can set schedules, adjust temperature parameters, and manage system settings remotely from anywhere with an internet connection.
Built for reliable year-round operation, the system supports advanced comfort features such as Follow Me temperature sensing and Dry Mode for humidity reduction. When paired with a 5th Generation MRCOOL DIY condenser, the OuttaSight® Ceiling Cassette is backed by a strong warranty package, including an optional limited lifetime unit replacement warranty, a 7-year compressor warranty, and a 5-year parts warranty for the original owner.
Intertek certified for performance and safety, the MRCOOL DIY 5th Generation OuttaSight® One-Way Ceiling Cassette is an ideal solution for homeowners seeking efficient, unobtrusive comfort with modern control and long-term peace of mind.
