MRCOOL DIY® 5th Generation Single-Zone Wall-Mounted Air Handler
The MRCOOL DIY® 5th Generation Single-Zone Wall-Mounted Air Handler is designed as a direct replacement or companion component for MRCOOL DIY single-zone systems. It delivers quiet, efficient heating and cooling while pairing with a compatible 5th Generation MRCOOL DIY single-zone condenser.
This air handler features Follow Me® Technology, which allows the handheld remote to function as a portable thermostat. By sensing temperature at the remote’s location, the system adjusts operation to maintain comfort exactly where you are.
Engineered exclusively for single-zone applications, this indoor unit is not compatible with multi-zone condensers. Proper operation also requires matching the voltage of the outdoor condenser, making voltage confirmation critical before purchase.
Designed for long-term reliability, the air handler is backed by a standard 5-year parts warranty. When paired with a matching 5th Generation MRCOOL DIY condenser, the system also includes a 7-year compressor warranty, with eligibility for a limited lifetime compressor warranty through enrollment in the MRCOOL Care Program.
For MRCOOL DIY single-zone systems, the Quick Connect® line set is always included with the condenser. A factory-sealed 25 ft line set comes inside the condenser box and is not included with the indoor air handler. If a condenser has not been purchased, no line set will be included.

Code requires a disconnect within sight of the outdoor unit, and the whip connects it to the unit. Every outdoor unit sits on a pad or a wall bracket.

How it’s delivered
Parcel or freight, depending on size. Ordered with a system, it ships together.
Box damaged? Refuse only the damaged item and keep the rest. We ship a replacement right away.
If you change your mind
Cancel before it ships and you get everything back except the 3% card processing fee. After it ships, email us first. The 3% fee, shipping both ways and MRCOOL’s 10% restocking fee come out of the refund. Return policy
